Karela United football club on Sunday July 18, held a stakeholders engagement with sports journalists in Nzema.

The session was led by the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Elleony Amande and other top officials like Lawrence Cudjoe( Director of Operations) and Koame Miezah( General Secretary).

The historic engagement which ended successfully was held in Aya Village and was attended by all the Nzema stations thus: West End Radio, New Day, West FM, Ebiamo FM, Nzema FM and leading sports website Domesticsportgh.com.

In the meeting both parties discussed among other things, key elements that needed attention for next football season. They include, security, accreditation for Media, Emergency projections, contingencies and transportation.

Addresing the Media during the meeting, Elleony Amande congratulated the journalists for their numerous engagement and contributions at the just ended Ghana Premier League season.

“The media is very important and so I have worked closely with them since I took office. Karela United has not departed from taking media men on club assignments because of how important they are to the development of our Sports.

He called on the media to do away with the negativity and rather focus their energy and airtime on promoting the game and projecting positive content of Karela United”.

The leading sports journalists were also given the platform to come out with their concerns and ideals on how to promote the club ahead of the next football season.

The 13- Journalists who were in attendance are:
