Umar Bashiru has finally agreed to extend his contract with Karela United, Domesticsportsgh.com can report.
Bashiru deal expired at the just ended 2021-22 season.
He was initially linked to his former club Asante Kotoko who were believed to be interested.
Domesticsportsgh.com has gathered that the midfielder has agreed to extend his stay in Nzema-Aiyinasi with a fresh deal set to be signed.
The deal will also include a release clause as well as an improved incentive.
The Passioners are likely to have talks with a couple of players who have their contracts expired.
The 24-year old was Karela United top scorer of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season with 15 goals and 5 assists in 33 outings.
