The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Honourable Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has added his voice for the very first time in the ongoing Ellembelle MP’s Cup Competition which started on August 9th, 2024.
The initiative which is practically part of the Minority Leader’s sole responsibility to discovering talents and unifying the youth through football is totally making waves in Ellembelle.
Over eighty Four communities are taking part in the community from the nine zonal areas in Ellembelle.
However, in an exclusive interview with West End Radio, the former Energy Minister applauded all the participating communities as well as the organizers for the event.
He revealed that, his office will continue to support any organization or individual through the area of sports to discover talents.
‘Sports is one of the key tools to unite people especially the youth, since it is the passion of the nation, we will continue going to discover talents, help, educate, promote and unifying the youth as well.”
” I am proud we have many communities participating and I wish all the teams all the best of luck, We are waiting for the best 8 teams as well, Congratulations” he added.
” My target is that at the end of the event, We will get the best players and push them financially to go out there, We want to see Nzema player playing for our national teams” he noted.
Kamgbunli, Asemko, Nkroful, Nzema Akropong, Aluku, Alabokazo, Anokyi are waiting for three more communities to qualify for the main tournament.
The Ellembelle MP’s Cup is a flagship event powered by the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle.
The tournament has been held every four years since the inaugural tournament in 2020.
