Basake Holy Stars tactician Abdulai Gazale has expressed his displeasure following their defeat to Nations FC in the Ghana Premier League.
Holy Stars succumbed to a 3-1 defeat in matchday 16 of the top-flight on Sunday at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Speaking after the game, Gazale expressed his displeasure about their performance, saying it is their worst performance so far in the league.
“My players failed to take responsibilities which is also giving us problems and that is something we have to work on. This is our worst performance I have seen”
Ask to comment about officiating, he said, “I don’t talk about officiating officials. All of us watched the game and we all saw there certain set-pieces that should have gone for Nations”
Captain Razak Simpson opened the scoring for the home team after just seven minutes into the match as they went to the halftime break with the advantage.
In-form forward Faisal Charwetey doubled the lead in the 51st-minte mark before Emmanuel Agyei pulled one back for the visitors.
In the 88th-minute, Emmanuel Annor found the net to cement victory for the Abrankese-based club.
Holy Stars are 11th on the Ghana Premier League standings with 18 points.
